The List object is an app layout object found in the containers toolbox. |
Details
The List object can be used on an app to capture data selected manually by an app user or dynamically using behavior. Once captured, that data can then be displayed to, and/or modified by, other users who view the app instance.
A List object can have multiple options which can be pre-defined at design time or which can be populated dynamically at run-time using the Connect behavior command. The List object will allow single or multiple selections; a choice that is made at design time. See also the Drop Down object.
A selection may also be set, or modified, in a List object dynamically using the Set Field and Copy Fields behavior commands along with the more advanced behaviors Connect and Connect and Search.
Setting the 'value' of a List object to zero will deselect whichever option is selected in the drop-down, providing that none of the options has the value of zero. |
